About Me
Hi, I'm Tiffany.
I'm an instructional designer and educator with 16+ years of experience creating meaningful, learner-centered experiences — combining learning science, creativity, and technology to help people actually succeed.
My background
My background is rooted in K–12 and virtual education, which gave me a teacher's perspective I bring to every project. Over 16+ years I've developed curriculum, built eLearning, administered Canvas, and designed for accessibility — always with the learner at the center.
I'm drawn to the intersection of learning science and design. I want to understand the real problem first — what's the gap, who's the learner, and what does success actually look like? Data informs every step.
When I'm not designing learning experiences, you'll probably find me reading about cognitive science, tinkering with design tools, or convincing people that a well-designed onboarding experience can genuinely change how someone feels about a new job.
How I approach design
Learner first, always
Every decision — from structure to visuals to interactions — starts with the learner. If it doesn't serve them, it doesn't belong.
Clarity over cleverness
I'd rather a learner walk away with one clear idea than be impressed by a flashy interaction they didn't understand.
Design with data
I use needs analysis, learner feedback, and outcome data to make decisions — not assumptions. Good design is iterative.
Accessibility is non-negotiable
Learning experiences should work for everyone. I design with WCAG guidelines in mind from the start, not as an afterthought.
